Getting started with branding
Alisha started her travel agency business at the beginning of 2020 and after going through the Careers on Vacation program, realized she wanted a brand and website that reflected her expertise and was easy to update/manage.
Brand strategy and design
Before we even started working together, Alisha knew she wanted to focus on serving adult-only vacations. The struggle she had was determining how to communicate that through her brand and message in a way that was different from other travel agencies with a niche of planning luxurious vacations.
On our brand strategy call, we were able to dig into the specifics of the ideal client a little more and narrow in on what type of travel experience Alisha wanted to provide. The end result was focusing on providing a completely custom and personalized itinerary for adults, with an emphasis on being open to trying new destinations and experiences.
A to B Travels identified most with the Summer Brand Season and the Spring Brand Season as the secondary. We selected colors that were light and slightly muted to align well with the summer personality. The high contrast sans serif for the ‘A to B’ paired with the simplicity of the ‘travels’ and tagline font helped us blend together both brand season personalities.

Web strategy and design
Alisha’s number one request for the website was to have something she could easily update with travel promotions and offers. Thankfully, that wasn’t a problem since we build all our websites on the Divi theme – a super user-friendly drag and drop editor that makes updates easy to handle.
Outside of that, the primary function of the website was to book consultation calls with potential clients and showcase the variety of destination options.
